Neurographic Art

Supplies

  • A4 sheet of paper
  • Thick black marker
  • Coloured markers
  • Black pen

Steps

  1. On the back of the sheet of paper, write what you would like to focus on. This could be a difficulty you are facing, something you are excited about or a relationship that is important to you. This will be what you focus on while making the neurographic art.
  2. Using the thick black marker, scribble a pattern onto the page, focussing on filling the space. Make sure that the lines overlap.Focus on the topic you choose in step one.
  3. Where the lines overlap, there are small corners to the shapes. Using the thick black marker, round the overlapping corners to make the shapes rounder. Make sure that any lines of the scribble extend to the edges of the page.
  4. Using the thick black marker, add another scribble to fill the page. As with step three, round the corners of the scribble where the lines overlap.
  5. Using the coloured markers, fill in the scribble. You can also use watercolour paints.
